Pastor Chris – I have head many reports that some young ones do not have much respect during
worship time – also others hang around in other rooms while the service is going on – perhaps when we get in the new church this will be cleared up. One person said they will not go back because it is not a worship atmosphere.
Thank you Pastor Chris for this awesome video. May the Lord bless you for taking your time to come up with such wisdom and revelation. It it my prayer that God would use me in this area and let me be such kind of vessel that would impact a lot of people through greeting. God bless you indeed.
this is our first shot at moblizing a greeters team, thanks for the information, will let you know how it helped
Good morning! My husband and I just received the awesome position of headship of our Greeters Ministry. Thank you so much for your resources and we are looking forward to the challenge of keeping our greeters fresh and excited about greeting. One question: we have lanyards with GREETERS noted on it and would like to know if you think this is a good idea? We would like to make name badges with the person’s actual name on it so those who are visual can see the name. Also, we meet in a high school cafeteria and have continental breakfast, bagels and the like with coffee and tea etc. When the service begins, it can be quite noisey with the previous service attendees in the hallway. What do you think of placards similare to what you see on the pro golf tournaments that would say something like “Quiet please, Church service has begun” so we are not offending anyone personally who may need to converse at that time. Thank you for your input. We are a very casual church on the Eastern Shore of Md.which has 3 services and approx 400 people per week.
